Human appointments
These are based at one of two separate clinics in Twyford or Winchester. I treat a range of conditions from back and neck pain to joint pain and sports injuries. A thorough history is taken and an examination conducted in order to identify the root of the problem. A treatment plan will be tailored to each individual to ensure the most appropriate care
Canine Appointments
I travel to you for these appointments. I treat dogs of all ages and size from agility and fly ball dogs to the older dog who is struggling to jump on the sofa. Chiropractic aims to improve comfort, movement and function. Chiropractic does not replace veterinary care. All lameness must be assessed by a vet prior to treatment
Equine appointments
I travel to the yard to assess and treat your horse. I treat horses of all ages, size and discipline from competition horses to happy hackers as well as those who have retired and benefit from a regular MOT. Chiropractic aims to improve comfort, movement and function. Chiropractic does not replace veterinary care. All lameness must be assessed by a vet prior to treatment

About Me
Here to Help
I am a qualified chiropractor who treats human, canine and equine patients. I initially trained as a human chiropractor having studied at the AECC University College and gained a 1st class Master of Chiropractic degree. I am registered with the General Chiropractic Council, the British Chiropractic Association and the Royal College of Chiropractors. I discovered chiropractic when I was 18yrs old and it helped me significantly when I hurt my back whilst working with horses. My love of helping people and my experience of receiving chiropractic treatment lead me to pursue it as a career. I then trained with the International Academy of Veterinary Chiropractic (IAVC) in order to help horses and dogs with chiropractic too because, well let's face it, who wouldn't love doing that?! I learned a lot about how chiropractic can help animals when I worked with dressage and showjumping horses and couldn't think of a better way to continue working with them.
Prior to my work as a chiropractor, I spent several years working in the equine industry. I gained my BHSAI and loved teaching people to ride and training horses. I regularly competed in dressage and these days, when I have time, still manage to squeeze in the occasional ride.
I have 2 energetic dogs 1 of which had a love of agility. Keeping her off the A-frame was always a challenge! She now lives a more sedate life and will mostly be found in her spot on the sofa.
In my spare time (what there is of it) I will be found either with my dogs or on the tennis court

I met Clare in November, when I’d already been suffering with lower back pain for over 4 months. Unable to self diagnose or treat, and with the pain beginning to interfere with my sleep, work and training, I turned to Clare for treatment. During the initial consultation, Clare took time to ask questions as well as observe my posture and range of movement in order to build a clear understanding of my lifestyle, alignment, strengths (and weaknesses!) and asked me about expectations and the type of treatment I was after - quick fix or a deeper more holistic approach. I opted for the latter as I wanted to understand my body better and get to the root cause so that I could work in the future to prevent further issues recurring. Clare used a range of treatment methods during the next few weeks, each time explaining clearly her methodology. Treatment was never painful, she tailored it to suit my preferences and needs, and offered advice for remedial exercises to do at home to compliment her treatment. Four sessions later and my lower back pain has vanished! I’m thrilled with the results - and will continue to see Clare periodically to maintain mobility as part of my self care regime.

Pippi is our family pony and its so important she is comfortable and physically sound enough to work pain-free for my children to ride. I was not disappointed. It was simple to book Clare for a yard visit around school runs and work commitments.
Clare arrived and took a thorough history and a good overview of what we do with Pippi and if we were concerned about anything or wanted a maintenance check up.
Clare was kind and took time to reassure Pippi and ensure she was comfortable and happy to be handled and was happy to work around Pippi's ear aversion, talking to her and making her feel comfortable.
Pippi seemed thoroughly enjoy her treatment and looked like she really relaxed towards the end.
